Unarine Rambani, professionally known as Una Rams, is a South African artist celebrated for his innovative fusion of R&B, soul and Afro-fusion. Born on March 7, 1996, in Makwarela, Limpopo, he grew up in a musically rich environment shaped by his uncle’s involvement in the gospel industry and his older brothers’ passion for songwriting and performance. While pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Pretoria, Una balanced academics with his growing love for music. He began producing during his teenage years, experimenting with diverse genres and first sharing his work on platforms like SoundCloud, which quickly gained traction and marked the beginning of his rise in the music scene. In January 2025, he released ndi a mufuna featuring Muneyi — a soul-stirring single sung in both Tshivenda and English that celebrated love and cultural pride. Its music video surpassed 100,000 views within a day, underscoring Una’s deep connection with his audience. September 2025 marked the release of his highly anticipated debut album, meet me at the altar. More than just a collection of songs, the project is a sonic celebration of love, heritage and commitment. Inspired by Una’s own wedding and rooted in South African traditions, the album blends heartfelt storytelling with timeless Afro-fusion and R&B soundscapes.
