It’s amazing how true the saying is—time truly flies when you’re having fun… or should we say, when you’re cruising through the luscious streets of Joburg on two wheels? ??????Two incredible years of #GirlsOnBikes—a community born from the desire to create a safe, welcoming space where girlies can ride, make friends, pick up a new hobby, and embrace the joy of cycling beyond just those end-of-the-month photo dumps (though we do love a good pic! ??).
To celebrate, we’re doing it the best way we know how—a ride, followed by brunch, mimosas, and all the loud laughter shared around a long table. ??????We can’t thank you enough for the love, support, and energy you’ve brought to this journey. ??? Ticket Details:Your ticket includes bike hire, breakfast, and two mimosas at La PergolaIf you’re bringing your own bike, your ticket will cover breakfast and two mimosas only at La Pergola

Preparing for the Ride:Cycling is a physical activity, so we recommend having a light meal beforehand to maintain your energy.Bring water and small snacks (like sweets) to help regulate your sugar levels.If you have any medical conditions, please inform us before the ride so we can be aware and assist if needed.
?? Weather & Safety:The sun may not be at its peak yet, but please wear sunscreen and a hat for protection.We start riding at 9:15 AM , so please arrive on time to ensure a smooth start.
?? Bike Fit & Comfort:If you’re using one of our bikes, please know your height. Our bikes are typically medium-sized. If you require a smaller frame, we recommend visiting Cycle Boutique (44 Stanley) before the event to test the fit.Bike seats can be a little uncomfortable, so if possible, bring a seat cover for extra cushioning.
