Based on the bestselling manga by Keiko Nishi. Masaru (Tatsuya Fuji) and
Yukiko (Chieko Baisho, known for singing the theme song of Hayao Miyazaki’s
“Howl’s Moving Castle”) are an elderly couple with a strained marriage. When
their pet cat goes missing, Masaru’s apparent apathy triggers Yukiko to
reassess their relationship. Their daughter (Mikako Ichikawa from “Godzilla
Resurgence”) steps in to help.
