Synopsis:
Ito, a shy high school girl from the countryside missing her deceased mother and struggling to get on with her father, impulsively applies for a job at a maid cafe. There she meets a host of interesting characters and begins playing shamisen (Japanese three-stringed lute), an instrument she hasn’t touched in years. It brings her out of her shell and gives her the confidence to fight for what she cares about.
A unique and touching coming-of-age drama.
