Final Girls Berlin Film Festival, showcases horror cinema directed, written, or produced by women and non-binary filmmakers. Final Girls Berlin are committed to creating space for female voices and visions — whether monstrous, heroic or some messy combination of the two — to platform women as subjects and storytellers in horror. The “Grim Visions” program offers six sinister shorts involving capitalist nightmares, political predators, and of course, vengeful women.
The Bioscope is proud to bring this unique and important film festival to South Africa this October thanks to independent film curator & programmer Deniz Sertkol. This is something we hope to make this an annual event here at The Bioscope!
