Resident Evil is back, but this time, it’s actually worth getting excited about! This brand-new take on the iconic horror franchise is directed by Zach Cregger, the filmmaker behind Barbarian and, most recently, Weapons - one of the most talked-about horror films of the year. This isn’t another chapter in the increasingly ridiculous Resident Evil saga - it’s a reset. A completely new story designed to take the franchise back to its horror roots, from a filmmaker who has already proved he knows exactly how to build tension, atmosphere and genuinely unsettling cinema.
