Led by multi-award-winning musicians Vuma Levin, Théo Duboule, and Martin Perret, the “In Motion” project represents a unique collaboration between South African and Western European musical cultures. The initiative aims to establish a creative dialogue between the folk music traditions of Switzerland and South Africa, particularly focusing on the period before and during the early stages of colonialism. The outcome of this collaboration is a new album titled “Allegories,” set to be released on July 11, 2025. This album charts an entirely new artistic direction at the intersection of various musical traditions. This exceptional group of local and international musicians will embark on an album launch tour across South Africa in July 2025 to support the release.
