Willkommen to the 47th Oktoberfest at the Deutsche Internationale Schule Pretoria!

Inspired by the legendary Oktoberfest in München, Germany, our festival is the first and most authentic beer celebration in South Africa! Join our school, the German community, and over ten thousand guests as we bring German “Gemütlichkeit” to life under African skies.

In our main tent, you’ll be entertained by the lively Oompah band “Die Frankenräuber”! Our Biergarten will also feature an awesome lineup of live music to keep the atmosphere vibrant and entertaining throughout the event.

Beer lovers, rejoice! We have a splendid variety of beers that will delight even the most discerning connoisseurs. Plus, there will be a wide range of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy.

Feast on Germany’s rich food culture with delicious options like Eisbein, Kassler, Bockwurst, Brezel, and more! Don’t forget to grab some brand-new Oktoberfest merch including T-shirts, caps and a few Lebkuchenherzen to complete your Oktoberfest experience.
