Startup Fest South Africa 2025 is a one-day entrepreneurship festival taking place on 19 November 2025 from 08:30 to 17:30 in Pretoria. The event is themed “Imagine the Future” and forms part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, a global movement celebrating innovation and entrepreneurial growth. The festival will feature engaging talks, exhibitions, and discussions focused on entrepreneurship education and SME innovation. Attendees will connect with industry leaders, investors, students, and other startup founders to explore the future of business in South Africa.
This year’s festival will include a symposium, exhibitions, and panel discussions centred on entrepreneurship education and work integrated learning. Over 400 students from our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme are expected to participate, highlighting the link between academic learning and real-world entrepreneurial experience. It will serve as a platform for young entrepreneurs and innovators to engage, collaborate, and showcase their ideas while exploring the role of entrepreneurship in driving South Africa’s economic future.
Startup Fest South Africa is organised by Startup Huddle Pretoria, and Tshwane University of Technology’s Centre for Entrepreneurship Development. In partnership with Bizpreneur, Accexx and Webbie Shop. The event is powered by Global Entrepreneurship Network, VISA, The Banking Association South Africa, Brand South Africa in line with G20 South Africa’s goals.
