To become.This space was born from a need for black queer kink offerings rooted in healing, safety, and liberation — especially for poc folks who are often excluded from dominant kink culture. It’s a space where our erotic expression is sacred and sovereign.

This is not a sex party - this is a Kink educational workshop/exhibition.

What to Expect

A Queer Kink Odyssey offers a rich, grounded journey through embodied sensuality, ritual, and release. Expect a carefully held space that blends mindfulness practices, breathwork and energy work, and trauma-sensitive yoga to help you drop into your body and awaken your inner wisdom.You’ll witness and be invited into sensory-based kink experiences, including a shibari (rope bondage) exhibition, live kink scene demonstrations, and playful, consensual opportunities to explore power, touch, and maybe a bit of pleasurable pain. All practices are rooted in consent, care, and community, welcoming you to engage as much or as little as feels right for you.

A Journey Through the Root Chakra

This iteration of Breath, Bondage and Becoming is grounded in the energy of the Root Chakra — Muladhara, the first energy centre of the body, located at the base of the spine. The Root Chakra is our foundation. It governs our sense of safety, belonging, survival, and embodiment. It is where we carry ancestral memory, inherited trauma, and the deep knowing that we are here, we are held, we have a right to exist.The colour red, symbolic of this chakra, pulses through this experience — a colour of life force, blood, grounding, fire, desire, and connection to the Earth. Red reminds us of our primal instincts and our deep erotic potential. It is the colour of both resistance and release, of both passion and presence.

In this Rooted Odyssey, we descend into the body — not to escape, but to return.Through:Mindfulness and trauma-sensitive yoga, we anchor the nervous system and meet the body with gentleness.Breathwork and energy work, we activate and move stagnant energy, clearing pathways for pleasure and power.Ritualised kink and bondage, we safely explore the edges of control, surrender, grounding, and trust.Sensory kink play and shibari exhibitions, we rewire the body’s connection to touch, intention, and eroticism as medicine.

This is a space to reclaim your roots, to explore what safety and sovereignty feel like in your body, and to awaken the powerful energy that lives at the base of your being.We invite you to wear red — or bring objects, textures, and talismans that connect you to Earth, body, blood, and home.

Let this be a ritual of remembering: you are held, you are worthy, you belong.
