Zandile Mzazi is set to return to the Linder Auditorium for a solo recital where she first performed with the JPO. She is a South African born Opera Singer, a 1st price winner of the LJUBA WELITSCH International Singing Competition, a 7th Mbokodo Award recipient, A Mellon Foundation Scholarship recipient, Arts and Culture International seasons performance co ordinator. She has appeared in many functions/Operas and Recitals both locally and internationally). To name just a few: She had an honor and a privilege to perform in the presence of many Heads of State, just to name a few…. the late Nelson Mandela, Former President Mr Mbeki, former President Mr Zuma, The Chinese President and 50 from the African Continent at large. She headlined the Official opening of the BRICS SUMMIT Launch. Zandile “is a talented soprano whose voice is already recognized locally for its purity and mastery of the most complex compositions’’

She will be accompanied by Peter Valentovich, a Slovakian conductor and a song accompanist who, appeared with Edita Gruberova(the late) at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, the Zurich Opera House, as well as in Passau, Baden Baden, Frankfurt, Budapest, Tokyo, the Vienna State Opera and at La Scala in Milan.
