Join Johannesburg based artist Liz Warren for a fun Friday morning (9am to 1pm) or Saturday afternoon (1pm to 5 pm) painting the iconic Cosmos flower, these distinctive purple, pink and white flowers line our country roadways as part of the legacy of the Boer War. I thought it would be fun to paint the stunning swathe of flowers with the Johannesburg sky line as seen from Delta Park, or I also have refence photos taken in the Drakensberg. Learn new techniques while painting a unique artwork for your home or as a gift. The focus of this workshop will be Cosmos flowers, however, as always participants are welcome to paint other flowers (or even your pet if you missed the Feb workshop). No previous art experience is necessary. All art material, tutoring and refreshments will be included. Small group with a maximum of 10 participants. Each participant will leave with one or possibly two (depending on your experience and speed of work) 20cm x 20cm paintings one of which will be framed and ready to hang immediately.
