The Joburg Theatre is proud to announce Janice Honeyman‘s re-telling of the timeless classic, Beauty, the Beast and the Enchanted Castle. With all the usual fun, laughter and topical jokes, dazzling costumes, exciting choreography and musical arrangements that have delighted audiences for decades. This pantomime will offer audiences a fresh and inspired new South African take on the classic tale.

Set on the magnificent Nelson Mandela stage and all that it has to offer, combining innovative staging, Audio Visual effects and theatricality, join Beauty, the Beast and a host of new and original characters for a romantic and enchanted family night out.
Joburg Theatre, in conjunction with CHOC (the Childhood Cancer Foundation SA), is running a Festive Season Book Drive for the duration of Beauty and the Beast.

Please consider donating gently-used children’s and young adult books when you visit the theatre to watch the pantomime. You can drop off your books at Joburg Theatre any time of the day from now until the end of the pantomime season. Donations can be made at our reading corner in the theatre foyer or handed over to the box office staff.
