LET’s UNITE IN OUR MOTORING PRIDE!idle DRIVE 2 UNITE is South Africa’s largest Car & Bike Charity run AROUND THE CITY of Johannesburg, ending with an exclusive vehicle showcase at Montecasino! Curated by the idle Events team, Drive 2 Unite is more than just a drive. It’s a movement to raise awareness and support for Blessing Lives, an NPO focused on ending period poverty among schoolgirls in underprivileged communities. Blessing Lives NPO 295-038, is a section 18A - approved organisation with PBO 930080855 status.

Public are welcome to join us at the Montecasino Events Area from 11am - 2pm on Sunday 22 June to view all the awesome Cars & Bikes that were selected to join the run. The run starts early in the morning from an undisclosed location where drivers will embark on a controlled drive AROUND THE CITY on the National road. The run ends at Montecasino and vehicles will be on display in the Events Area for the public to view at NO COST. Public are encouraged to support the cause and bring along a minimum of 1x pack of sanitary pads to donate to our Sanitary Pad Drive.

JOIN THE RUN, You will need to own any of these vehicle types: Supercar; Sports car, sedan or SUV; Motorcycle (Superbike, chopper, cruiser, touring, classic, custom built, trike); Muscle or Classic; Hot Rod; Custom Show Car.

THERE ARE THREE WAYS TO SUPPORT THE INITIATIVE:Should you own a vehicle type mentioned below, REGISTER HERE for the grand parade/run (it’s free), orIf you’re unable to join the run or your vehicle wasn’t selected, you can still support the cause by visiting us at the Montecasino Events Area to drop off your donation and to enjoy a great day from 11am to 2pm, checking out incredible vehicles and connecting with fellow enthusiasts. ESSENTIAL INFODue to limited parking at the Montecasino Events Area, registration for the run is compulsory, and only those selected through the registration process will be allowed to participate. Meet-up point and route details will be shared exclusively with those selected to participate in the run. This run is approved by the Joint Operations Committee (JOC) and will take place as a controlled convoy on the national highway.There will be food & beverage stalls in the events area (halaal included), please do support them.
