The Good Story 48 hour Film Festival is a film festival that brings together individuals to produce a short film, no longer than 7 minutes, in 48 hours.
Why do we exist?
Stories – we all love watching them and some of us love making them. The Bible is one big beautiful story and Jesus was the greatest story teller of them all. We think that if Jesus was on the earth today, He might be making films instead of parables. Unfortunately, today’s films are often filled with stories that Jesus wouldn’t be proud of.
So in response, the Good Story 48 Hour Film Festival exists for a number of reasons: We want to tell stories that uplift, inspire and are stories Jesus would be proud of.We want to develop our story-telling skills so we can have a greater impact.We want to connect and create a community of Christian film makers.We’re interested in having fun. Film making can be incredibly collaborative and enjoyable.
