Black Labone (Black Thursday) organization, which started as a weekly open mic event, has been a significant contributor to the community over the past 5 years. Their aim is to empower artists and encourage exceptional work through collaboration, providing a diverse platform for local and international artists to showcase their talents.
With regular weekly concerts, discussions, slam poetry performances, live music, art exhibitions, and open-mic, Black Labone has become one of Pretoria’s fastest growing weekly events. The session remains free to the public every Thursday.
