Tembisa Theatre Week will be presenting some of the works that are not
recognized and some of their voices are not heard and recognized in the
theatre scene of South Africa. The Tembisa theatre week is here as a platform
for young artists to practice their art. Is a safe space for artists to tell
their stories from the depth of their souls, It is not an easy journey but
with one heart, one soul and one vision in this journey we shall honor,
respect, love and share the power of theatre in the township. Now is the time
to envision the goal, and embark on a journey to achieve what was never
achieved and to open new routes for the upcoming generation of artists.
This is a program that will preserve or dance and theatre traditions, with the
hope that is instilled in our minds, hearts and souls, with our theatre will
lead everyone to a safe and productive destiny.
