again jump-start the second semester with an elaborate showcase of the best
student productions devised during the first half of 2025.
To elevate this year’s rendition, our annual festival will include workshops
presented by students, industry professionals and various behind-the-scenes
staff who support all our students in realising their productions.
Additionally, the festival programme includes interactive activities for
audiences to contribute their arts in various forms.
Performances Include:
Third Year Directing Student Productions: Six productions directed by third
year students supervised by Mr. Calvin Ratladi.
Dinner to Die For: A multi-camera sitcom performed by Honours students and
directed by Dr. Lelia Bester.
Are we worth saving?: UP Drama’s contribution to the collaborative Theatre of
Climate Action (TOCA) project with the Feminist Centre for Racial Justice
