Join the Chamber Singers (conducted by Raine Pienaar) on the 8th and 9th of
June 2024 as they present a programme, titled My Song in the Night. The
programme features some of the most beloved sacred choral works by Quigley,
Elberdin, Hagenberg, Mendelssohn, Busto and Hogan.
To commemorate the composer’s 100th anniversary, the programme will present
the South African premiere of a new edition of Gabriel Fauré’s beloved Requiem
in D Minor, Op. 48 completed by Yves Castagnet. Ailyn Nienaber (Soprano), and
Hendré van Zyl (Bass) will feature as soloists for the Requiem accompanied by
Andrea Kaiser-Mitas on the organ.
