In a career spanning decades, Romero has explored the works of Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert, Rachmaninoff, and many others, presenting complete cycles of piano sonatas and concertos, and earning prizes including the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition, the Avery Fisher Career Grant, and the Musical America Young Artist Award.
