Step into the unforgettable world of cinema as the Pretoria Symphony Orchestra brings some of the greatest movie soundtracks of all time to life in a spectacular evening of music and film.
Conducted by Eddie Clayton, Cinemania combines the power of a live symphony orchestra with stunning projections of iconic movie scenes, creating an immersive concert experience for audiences of all ages.
Featuring acclaimed vocalists Zita Pretorius and Monde Msutwana, the programme journeys through beloved classics and modern blockbusters alike. From the magical worlds of The Lord of the Rings, Aladdin and Alice in Wonderland to the epic themes of Game of Thrones, Batman, The Avengers, Formula 1 and The Mission, every performance celebrates the music that has defined generations of storytelling.
Audiences can also look forward to favourites from Les Misérables, stirring Disney classics, unforgettable anthems of movie villains, and a selection of memorable cinematic themes.
Adding to the fun, audiences are encouraged to dress as their favourite movie character. Whether you arrive as a superhero, wizard, princess, Jedi knight, pirate or racing legend, your costume will help make the evening even more magical.
More than just a concert, Cinemania is an opportunity to make a difference. Fifty percent of the concert’s profits will be donated to the Hamba Nawe Project, supporting children in palliative care and their families. By attending, you’ll be helping to bring comfort, dignity and hope to children facing life-limiting illnesses.
