The place is a hidden gem and actually came across it by accident. If you want that authentic,
hearty, home-cooked traditional African food, add Funk Bar to your weekly to-do list.
They have quite a lengthy menu selection with my favorite being the pap with what they call
Barbourfields/Highfields which is a mixture of beef and kale, and the broth that settles at the
bottom of the bowl is perfection.
